Healing

Starts With You

Book with Me

“We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are.” – Anaïs Nin

I believe that our experiences and perspectives shape the way we see the world. True healing begins when we can look with compassion—both inward and outward.

Hi, I’m Deb

I’m Debra Jordan, a registered psychiatric nurse and mental health clinician with a passion for supporting people on their healing journey. I have built my practice on the belief that compassion, creativity, and connection are at the heart of meaningful change. I think the important question we can explore is what has happened to you, not what is wrong with you.

I’ve made my home in the beautiful Shuswap, a place I love for its lakes, trails, and sense of community. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me outdoors enjoying the natural beauty of the area or spending time with my family and animals.

In counselling, I combine professional expertise with a genuine, down-to-earth approach. I want my clients to feel seen, supported, and understood—whether they are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply looking for a safe space to reconnect with themselves. My goal is to help people rediscover their strengths and weave together new ways of living with greater ease, self-compassion, and authenticity.

My Experience

I have over a decade of experience supporting clients as they navigate their wellness. I hold a diploma of applied psychology and counselling, a diploma in psychiatric nursing, a bachelor in health science and have recently completed a master in nursing. I am dedicated to continuing to learn new ways to support clients as they face their challenges.

With a Master of Nursing, a Bachelor of Health Science, and diplomas in Psychiatric Nursing and Applied Psychology & Counselling, I bring a strong clinical and therapeutic foundation to our work together. I’m trained in Level 1 Internal Family Systems (IFS), Level 1 Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Level 1 Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping). My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative—meeting you where you are and supporting meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels right for you.
